The Story Of Adam And Eve The Story Of Adam And Eve Now ever since that time began The woman has seduced her man Taking apple from a forbidden tree The naughty Eve soon persuaded he Come hither Adam, quick over here As Eve told Adam to taste her ware Oh Eve my dear what have you done God told us not to pick from that one Blaming it on a serpent as she grinned As Adam told her that she had sinned You have picked it from the tree of life Forbidden fruit is of trouble and strife Knowledge of good and evil, God said No more eternal life, we’ll all be dead But Eve being a woman, gets her way As Adam eats the apple that fateful day On eating the fruit aware they are nude Cover up the bits that now appear rude Trying to hide from God feeling shame Are told never to enter the garden again A curse of hard labour is what it’s worth For having sinned and pain in childbirth. You're supposed to eat of the tree of life. It's the tree of knowledge you're supposed to leave alone. I always knew education was overrated... he banishes them from His garden, setting a cherub at the gate to bar their way to the Tree of Life, "lest he put out his hand ... So at least, i know someone is paying attention!! as for me... I was never educated! I've never read a book from cover to cover...
