The Best Kiss of My Life?

I dreamed again last night, about the most incredible kiss I have ever experienced. Seriously. It was so fantastically vivid I am not sure I can describe it but I will try.

She was someone I already knew as a friend, but only in the dream; she wasn't anyone I know in real life. The setting was vague. A kitchen, or a room with a table maybe? I think I was leaning against some piece of furniture. She was wearing a low waisted skirt, and a cropped top. The top was like some kind of linen jacket maybe, very short, and loose - airy and cool, not fitted – it must have been summer. I noticed the attractive tone of her skin between the two garments. Long legs, slimish figure but sexily curvy.

We were saying goodbye to each other just before she was going to be overseas for a long time. But she was behaving differently from the way she usually would. It seemed as if she was suddenly trying to give me the signals. When she came to hug me goodbye her movements had a relaxed sensuality she had never shown me before. She completely melted against me in a way that encouraged me to slip my hands under the jacket and around her bare waist. I wanted to touch her so much. The warmth of her skin was completely intoxicating and I held her in my arms and caressed her gently with my hands on her beautiful hot flesh under her jacket.

As soon as my hands touched her skin my heart began to quicken, and then she put her lips on mine and kissed me, incredibly softly but deeply and sensuously. Everything in my mind focused on that one part of us. It was as if our lips and tongues were the only things which existed in the world, filling my senses and seen in close up. Everything was her soft warm tongue and our perfectly joined lips. I felt it just as if it was really happening, and it seemed like the best kiss of my life.

Of course I know it probably wasn't, I know I probably dream like this is because I have been deprived of these kinds of feelings for so long. No dream could really compete with the reality of kissing The Lioness, Crazy Jo, or Liz. But they were all a long time ago, and I can honestly say that I have known many kisses in real life that I would gladly trade for another dream like this one.

Jinkies, that was a vivid description. You made me long for that kiss, though obviously between the woman and me not you and I. ( Your a top geezer and all but your not Mr Depp! )

I really want dreams like yours that seem to involve deep meaning and symbolism. Rather than the ones I do get...

    Peace

The dreams that stuff is made of.
I've never heard of a way to ensure dreams are how you would like them I'm afraid.

When I have those kind of dreams I stay happy. But then when I have a bad dream I often stay upset!

Read a bit about it, I think its referred to as lucid dreaming. Though from what I could gather its rare thing to happen naturally. Supposedly though methods exist that allow you to enter into a state of semi-lucidity during your dreams.

If thats the case though, how many of us would want to wake up?. . .

    Peace

Oh yeah, okay, I think I know what you're talking about. I've certainly experinced moments when I was aware that I was dreaming and could affect the direction the dream took. It usually happens when you are almost awake but still dreaming. If you feel the dream heading in a direction you don't want you can steer it back towards how you want it to be. But this is usually only fleeting and can result in waking yourself up, because you become too aware that it is a dream. I imagine with more practice it might get easier to control.

But I have never been able to choose the subject matter!
