Olympic Hand Job

"If she can clean it she'll jerk it - just checking her grip on the shaft."

I think they were talking about the weightlifting; I wasn't really paying attention at the time.

It's amazing how quickly the Olympics seem to have come round again. As you may remember I am a bit of a one for fantasising over athletic women. I currently have my eye on a Dutch hockey player and a German gymnast, but really it's an endless parade of sexy, breathless physical perfection and prowess.

Meanwhile, in other news, the kitchen garden at Dreamer Hall is hopping with small frogs, newly making their own way in the world after a summer tadpolling in my pond.

I love my life.

I don't have much interest in female athletes but my garden is doing very nicely this summer....lots of colour in it and I love sitting there with my early morning coffee....when it's not raining.

That sounds lovely. Also, that is a very pretty eye you are now keeping on me, thank you.

I'm probably one of the few that isn't watching the Olympics.

I love watching tadpoles transform into frogs.

Or maybe tadpoles transforming into elite female athletes in the garden?

I just saw Maya Dirado win a medal in the swimming - she looks nice. USA for ever.......after GB of course.

i am enjoying all of the swimming events... and a few locals are even bringing home the gold! it's quite exciting.

but you are right, the little tadpoles becoming itty bitty little frogs are so.... ~GULP~ dinner? there goes another bass eating the bait. the canal is a free for all! If they don't hop on the shore line and quick, them there fishies are gonna eat'em up!

It's been a gold rush for GB since I wrote this post, but hats off to Michael Phelps - amazing long term success.

Fortunately I only have a very small pond, so no fish - frog heaven!

I've got enough frogs to give it a try. Now, how does it go, "eye of frog and toe of newt" or whatever......

You are still here? Dreamer. You haven't changed a bit in 6 years. You look exactly the same. LOL!

Yeah I know - they say change is good, but somehow I like it when things stay the same! Actually, I have even less hair now, but I have new jeans, and still the same slim athletic build, at least nearly..... so I could replicate this picture easily enough, but why change something so recognisable just for the sake of authenticity!?

I have really missed you by the way, so good to see you here again.

It was a great holiday, thanks! But yes, far too short. I caught some brown trout and some sea fish we call Pollack - I don't know if there are any in Canada. They are a bit like cod only more dynamic, living around the rocky sea shores. Great mountains, wild walking in the hills, ultra relaxing and re-invigorating........
