Moving is such a pain... but this time it was worth it!

Moving is such a pain... but this time it was worth it!

Like most of us, I hate to move and it’s a royal pain in the ass! But this time, when I moved in late July, it was WELL worth all of the effort.

I bought my first house, a nice and roomy 3 bedroom house in South Snohomish County and moved out of my cramped one bedroom apartment. In the month or so that I’ve been here I’ve worked hard to get settled in and things are going along very well.

I have another couch and lamp on order to be delivered next week that will finish off my nice big living room with big windows and hardwood floors. Of course, being a guy, one of the first things for the living room was mounting my new 52 inch flat screen TV over the fireplace.

My sunroom/dining room is great for hosting poker parties... I’ve already had a few and am having another tonight.

My other big “guy” thing was buying a new pool table for my family room downstairs. Boy, do I need practice! LOL

I’ve wired my stereo to have speakers in 4 rooms... the living room, pool room, sunroom and my office. I can add one more set of speakers, so if I do go for a hottub I’ll have to get outdoor speakers and wire my deck for sound.

Today, I think I’ll go check out prices and options for a hottub. I have a GREAT private spot on the patio out back that’d be perfect for a hottub.

I’m also thinking of making the small (about 8’x 10’ room next to the pool room into an adult playroom... if I get the boxes out of it that is. I’m thinking of getting a custom wall to wall mattress made, putting some oversized cushions on the floor, mounting mirrors to the wall and ceiling, getting one of those sex sling chairs to hang from the ceiling, and mounting a few attachments for restraints for those interested in some light bondage.

All in all, it’s a great “bachelor pad” and getting better all the time! I’m so happy I took my sister’s advice and forgot about the idea of buying just a condo. LOL

 You've done very well with the house Tim!! I'm so happy for you!! The play room is a great idea...Don't forget the lava lamp and the other things we talked about!! The hot tub will be a "ear nibbling" good time, as long as the cats and the racoons don't "scare" you too much...lol. Also, the lights around that tree will set the mood just great!! Can't wait to see it all....You've done well Counselor, I'm so happy for you!
