Snow, disappointment and sadness

Snow, disappointment and sadness We got dumped on this weekend, snow wise anyway...lol. Actually I prefer it to dribs and drabs...just get it over with already...lol. So nature accomodated. Like 7 inches worth...bam! But its like pulling a band aid off, quickly and totally is best. I used to really love snow and all its trappings...I can remember as a that days like this past weekend were the highlight...just loved it. Now that I'm older and a stick in the mud I just sigh and start counting the days til spring...or in this case the days until I leave for Florida...lol...40 in case you've lost track...  I was and am disappointed in my special friend...shje was supposed to come over today and enjoy some carnality...but she neglected to pay her cell phone bill and now is totally unreachable. She did this once before and I told her she would get a spanking if she ever did it again...lol...but with no way to contact there's no way to help and she lives out of town so I can't just jump in the car and go over there, plus there are other problems associated with that. Grrrr...makes me upset and disappointed but then I should be used to that already...sigh. And finally as I was reading through the vast wasteland of blogville this morning I was sad...there are so many people that have problems in their life...they greatly outweigh those of us who have a more positive life. I suppose that's law of averages or something equally scientific/mathematic but it none the less is disappointing and saddening. Marriages breaking up, people abused, people just lost in their own minds and worlds...it is not a happy day for sure. I'm the type of guy who wants to try to "fix" things...can't stand to have loose ends or friends in distress...and I know that I can't do much more than talk for people who live way way away. Not everything is a money thing...some are just personal and intimate and inside. money can't help that, plus I seem to be in short supply lately anyway...sigh. So I guess I should have just stayed in bed today...even alone it would have been less distressing than what's going on here. Days like today make me wonder why I keep coming back... But then I remember that I like being positive and sharing pictures that might make you smile...so ladies on that note, here is today's hunk...hope he puts a smile on your face...   Gotta love the guitar, eh??

Everyone has good time and bad times in their lives, Quixy. And some have more bad than good. However not everyone chooses to share that side of themselves to the 'world'. Some people are here to find an outlet for themselves. Hope the 'ups' out weigh the 'downs' for you, Quixy. Cheers.
