If Only For Tonight

There you are,
Lookin more handsome than ever.
Your dressed to perfection,
In your all white linen and leather shoes.
I think to myself, "If Only For Tonight."

You look at me and wink your eye
You see me gazing, staring, looking
at that beautiful, handsome body of yours
and I am thinking, "If Only For Tonight."

I am distracted and forced to take my eyes off you
and then there you are, standing before me with
that beautiul cinematic smile.
My heart skips two beats, but yet and still,
I think, "If Only For Tonight."

You ask for my hand and I kindly place it in yours.
They are soft, warm, yet masculine.
You pull me closer as we are on the dance floor.
You smell soooooooo good and I bury my head in
your chest.
Surely, "If Only For Tonight."

This all getting too much for me to handle.
I see no one but you. My urge for you if clouding
up my judgements. I let you take over and have me your way.
I think to myself, "Its Only For Tonight."

I close my eyes as you lead me to a secluded area.
No one is here. It is us alone, because "It's Only For Tonight."
Then I open my eyes, and then realize no one is he but me.

It was all a dream.
Only a dream, "If Only For Tonight."
