Beginning to believe no one wants an older guy

What is too old? I'm beginning to think 55 is a hex, no one wants older guys. Or is that just an excuse? Maybe it is something else. Just because we're accepted by AARP, doesn't mean we are ready for the grave yard.

Old is all in the mind for the most part. I've met guys that were 10 or 15 years younger than me that seemed like my grandpa.

I checked out your profile. I'm going to be blunt here, because that's just me for the most part. I'm not trying to slam you, just going to point a couple things out.

1. You are married. (so am I, but that's not the issue here) Married guys on this site seem to get all kinds of heat for being here, especially if the women you are contacting are single. If that's what you are doing you might try changing your target audience. Someone in a similar situation as yours will probably be more willing to meet or offer what you are looking for.

2. You mention your alopecia in your profile. You might want to explain it a bit more. A lot of people have no clue what that is and might just think "Ew, he's got something" and never bother to see exactly what it is. You get points for being open and honest about it but a bit more information might help your cause.

Hey, you are from Texas, you can't be all bad. Although how you ended up in Michigan and stayed there ... Dude, it's cold there!

Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

Thank you. Advice well taken.

Long story how I ended up not too far from the North Pole. I certainly miss Texas, especially come about two months from now.
