We think alike here. The vaccine is pretty much useless, IMHO. However the general info regarding HPV is useful and needs to be shared and taken into account by ANYONE who is sexually active, especially with multiple partners. I know I'm always 'on guard'  -tm

Well said and 100% correct. It's a VERY scary world we live in that's for sure and one where even ol Tazzerman is literally no longer having sex with strangers and limiting myself to only my best/closest friends and partners who themselves are both tested and monogamous. The days of unbridled, wanton, sex with strangers is pretty much over

Ummmm.... HPV is a virus. Viruses don't replicate in cancer cells. The sheep are being led to slaughter once again by the drug companies who have, at their mercy and command, a whole bunch of sheep doctors who convince the sheep to pay for the privilege of being the guinea pigs for the bottom line of the pharmaceutical companies. And, did you ever stop to think about the difference between immunization and vaccination? They are not the same, even though the popular media would like us to think so! Immunization means that the body has become immune to something. A vaccination means to stick a needle in someone's arm. Yet the two words are used interchangeably. People need to start being far more suspicious about what we're being spoon fed by those who make vast amounts of money and tell us that it's "for our own good".

The point is being aware. Plain and simple. HPV is one of the major causes of NOT only genital warts but cervical cancer AND throat cancer in men.

I guess I knew there was some benefit to how rarely I have sex. Nobody can be 100% sure of course. I've had 1 sex partner the last 2 years. Had a few before that, but not a lot. I kept track, it's less than 20 for my life.
