I Am Resting At Home Now

Update from my living room:

First of all this was NOT a hoax. Anyone who wants to be skeptical (god knows you have the right) can check the hospital records at Saint Bernard's in Jonesboro Arkansas. My name, which I have never hidden, is Joseph Lenderman.

Second of all this was funny as hell. I think the funny as hell part is what got me through my little episode. What, you may very well be asking, is so funny about a man having an Acute Inferior Myocardial Infarction?... I called [blog DaphneR] from the hospital saturday and told her what happened to me. I was on blood thinners and nitro and oxygen and still had some pains in my chest and I could not stop laughing. I explained to Daphne that Friday Night after I got done chatting with Oldman I went to bed feeling pretty bad. I tried to read a book and suddenly all the feeling went out of my arms and I broke into a hellacious sweat. I woke babe up and told her she had to take me to the hospital. A couple minutes later I was laying on the floor telling her to get me an ambulance now....

Ok still haven't seen the funny???

With all the fake deaths and illness that have been exposed on Gay Hookup Zone over the last 4 years, Especially with the few fake funerals of my very own here the last month or so I really do not expect anyone to believe that I, the great not so great one, actually had a heart attack. Now think about it. [blog DaphneR] is one of my closest friends on here. The first words out of her mouth was..

"Are you Lying?"

My bestest friend had doubts (with good reason) that I was being less than factual. Funny As Hell !!!!! I am the boy who cried wolf in order to point out the severe problems with people who cried wolf not being believed if they ever needed to be believed.

Man, THAT KARMA IS A BITCH.... ROFL

Long story short, The damage to my heart was minimal, They did the Heart Cath yesterday and Dr. John (Jack) Mckee placed three stents in one artery. I have two more arteries that are 50% blocked but they should never cause me any problems as long as I take my Plavix and my cholesterol medicine. I have no special diet or lifestyle that I must conform to. I just have to be one of those people who carry the little nitro pills around in their pockets. After two weeks of being basically stationary I can resume my full work load.
Oh yes, one life style change, no more smoking.

I have to tell you that I really thought you were setting up another death and resurrection when I read about it over on OldFart's blog. (By the way, your family has never paid me yet for that might fine preachin' I did at your last damned funeral!)

If you hadn't been laughing so much when you told me, I probably wouldn't have asked if you were kidding around about it. Of course I'm sure the doctors and nurses in the room thought whoever you were talking to was as nuts as you since we were both laughing about it.

Ya know, you can only tempt that bitch so much before she reaches out and bites you in the ass. Probably a good moral of the story for several people around here.

I totally believed what I read on Daphne's blog ~~ but my next thought was, "Oh shit! Somebody's gonna have a heyday with this!". lol Glad you're home and doing well ~~ good to hear the damage was minimal. Just take care and realize what I'm having to realize as well ~~ we are getting older and have to start taking better care of ourselves. And yeah ~~ I need to quit smoking too ~~ dammit.

I would never doubt Daphne ...

There was a study released today(?) about Plavix and stomach meds (proton blockers), which are often prescribed together. Seems the acid reducers in combination with Plavix can cause clots. Don't know if your doc prescribed the combination ...
