For me drama is when expectations are different from reality and we haven't learned how to resolve the incongruity. Pertinent to everything in life, not just relationships.

Dynamically changing with circumstances. Aging, health, finances, job pressures, transitioning to the next phase of one's life. Relationships evolve as life evolves and everyone involved needs to adapt to those changes. Some relationships wane as the children leave home, some grow stronger for the same reason.

Drama and hidden baggage- they are hand maidens I have found. I am now very careful. I have no problem with my own company- much nicer day by day than a bum relationship (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group

Fighting over nonsense. Overuse of hyperbole. (everything is the worst or the best thing ever) Excessive complaining. They think the world is coming to an end over trivial events. Make mountains out of molehills. In general I think it is a combination of being highly emotional and a narcissist.

I had a Filipina girlfriend many years ago who had a certain number of preset conditions for any of her boy friends. One was the requirement that I had to phone her and talk to her for at least 2 hours every day. Now I'm actually a pretty quiet guy and trying to force a conversation for 2 hours per day was quite a trial for me. Her other requirement was that the conversation could not conclude until I was angry as I was hanging up. Needless to say, she was a drama queen with far too much drama for me and I really did not enjoy being angry everyday. Also needless to say, that relationship did not last long. While the sex may have been very good, the rest of the relationship simply sucked.

Some people thrive on drama so much that if they don't get enough of it from outside sources they'll create their own crisis and blame it on the outside sources. Now, how may I disturb you?
