Work, sucks, but has a great view! We had a big meeting this morning. A lot of hindrances and punishments will be dealt out. Some of it was justified. I can tell that my year performance review will be full of accusations that I'm a bad employee ... So, I'm bolstering up my defenses, getting ready to explain the full truth to the half truths told against me. Reminds me why I wanted to quit at the end of 2012. I've been expecting this evaluation since friday ... I've turned my self evaluation in already, I played nice. After hearing this meeting, I seriously doubt my supervisor played nice. It will happen someday soon. Till then, I'm still working hard, safe, strong. I will give him the benefit of the doubt till I know for sure.  This picture was taken by a co-worker. I am the small orange spot in the tree, I am about the same height as the bucket at this moment. The bucket is fully extended up, about 55-60 foot high. I was 20 foot higher before the picture was taken, doing the work that the bucket couldn't get ... I was the only climber willing to do this, because it needed to be done ... Yet, my supervisor wants to claim that I don't do what he tells me to do. ... /sigh -out- Visit my blog if you want to at thax013 and thank you very much! |

Ouch, I hate those non-team player type supervisors. *puts a safety net under the tree just in case  Looking back at that photo, I remember it a bit better. That part of the tree was only about one fourth of the big cottonwood. I had tied in about 20 foot higher with my rope so I could get out onto that limb (very large dead limbs right over the house, had to have a climber to get them safely down) The best limb for my rope to go around had a large cavity at the base of it, so I was somewhat apprehensive about using it ... there were no other better limbs to tie my rope to, so I had to use that semi-bad limb. I didn't fully trust it, so I kinda crawled out to where I was, then retied my rope to a good limb out there ... fun fun fun, looking down and seeing the house look like a single lego block.Visit my blog if you want to at thax013 and thank you very much!

Before this job, I worked in a mailroom for 6 years. The manager did exactly as you described every day. It was my worst job experience. As with all jobs, it allowed me to learn and grow. That job showed me that my work ethic allows me to be taken advantage of by lazy co-workers as I ended up doing literally 80% of the entire mailroom's work by myself while my co-workers made personal phone calls for hours every day. lol, I'll stop that rant right there  I hope that you have not experienced that type of "motivation", as it truly is emotional abuse.Visit my blog if you want to at thax013 and thank you very much!
