I Would Rather Die of Passion Than of Boredom

I have always liked that picture. When I think of passion I don't think of sex unless I reading a story. Passion is much more than sex and you described it well.

We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we have only one - Confucious

Let's presume you've been an ensemble for more than two years. I'd think, 'forgiveness' had ALREADY been earned. That's what defines friendship - for me. Either that, or there was never a bond to begin with.
The idea that 28 months later you've still got someone on probation - 'earning' daily points - is absurd. You might be confusing the word 'demand' with 'expect'.
What more has to be done to deserve salvation in your eyes. Especially if a sincere apology had been offered.
Unless of course, you're looking for perfection. Is anyone sin free? Are you?
I'm not sure there is a perfect partner waiting for your benevolence. Maybe you'll be lucky and find one as pure as you.
    Best of luck.
You are making a lot of unfounded presumptions about me and what I am looking for.
I cannot grant salvation to anyone. The ability to do so belongs to a higher power.
People have to take responsibility for their own actions instead of continually expecting to be “forgiven” or for the “slate to be wiped clean” simply by pressing the Delete key.
Much like the boy who cried wolf, “sincerity” wears thin and becomes not believable.
I am aware that perfection doesn’t exist on this Earth and of my own shortcomings. I don’t need you or anyone else to grant me “luck”.

I agree it is an interesting picture which evokes different emotions each time it’s is viewed. Each person needs to define what passion means to them. There’s nothing wrong with it being different for everyone.

So... 'sincerity' is the issue.
Hmmm... tough one to measure. 'Trust', is a word I'd replace it with. You'd only know, or feel that, after hours and hours of conversations. Did you have any of those? You never felt anything? Or was that an illusion?
You're easily swayed if 2 years of THOSE, are so easily crumpled in one or two fuck ups.
No worries about wishing 'good luck'. I was just being polite. I can see that you're in a mood.
No worries. I'll just say what?

You have mistaken honesty for being "in a mood".

I think you have said more than enough. As someone who likes to utter, "Less is more" , you aren't heeding your own words.

Funny now that my time is my own some friends do not understand that having time for myself is a passion of its own.

I know what you mean. In many ways, I am busier now than when I was working full-time.

There is passion is just being alive, living each day! From the smallest of things, to the grandest! For me, out of the sexual realm, a few of my passions are writing, coloring, building jigsaw puzzles, and, the art of conversation. The more you grow with someone, the more passionate you become in every day activities together, if it's just watching a movie. You know, that is so true, younger people misinterpreting lust for passion. Great point - thank you!

In Luv, Lite, Laffter ...

We share some of the same thinking. I am grateful every morning when I awaken to face another day. Life is what you make of it. Although obstacles may be thrown in our way, we find the strength through our passion for life to overcome and continue. Hope you have a marvelous Monday
