Whether you have AUTO RENEW set to OFF or not your script will automatically be renewed. If you don't complain your account will continue to be renewed indefinitely. They can and do change the Auto Renew back and forth in the office. The only way you can be sure that your account will not be charged again is to cancel your account a few days before the renewal date. Apparently this is their Business model. Either that or they're counting on the fact that not many people call their bank or credit card company to complain about charges from a sex site. post 3776034

It's been long known that auto renew will turn itself back on a few days before the expiry date. To anybody who does use a credit card, use the disposable kind where you charge it just enough to cover the funds. If they try to charge that card again, the charge will get rejected due to insufficient funds.

I never used a CC on this site. I refuse, just because there have been so many issues with people getting charged when they shouldn't be, or not getting what they pay for. It's almost like amateur night sometimes.

Thanks for the heads up...glad that I recently started entering all of my CC transactions into a budget spreadsheet; it forces me to review it every month. Clearly they're desperate for money, and I'm not surprised - the proportion of paying members to nonpaying members has got to be awfully small.

They just hit me up to for the 3 month renewal too....even though I turned the Auto Renew OFF.....I'm pretty pissed right now and will be removing this card from the site. A story by Lucius8858

I've been here since 1998, and have been a Gold or Silver member 90% of the time I learned early on to always turn the auto renew off as soon as the transaction was complete. Because of the way Gay Hookup Zone has evolved into a piss poor website, I don't think I'll stick around any more....my gold membership expires today....this could be my last post on Gay Hookup Zone after being a loyal member for 18+ years! I'm just sick of the BS They need to stop the non paying members....make EVERYONE pay, lower the cost to $20 per year, and don't give out free memberships to anyone. They'll make a lot more $$$$ and, you won't have to deal with fakes or trolls....well, not nearly as much! JMHO

I'm so glad that the card I used on here has been cancelled awhile back. I would hate to keep getting charged for this site when have the stuff on it doesn't even work right reach me in my blog titled private mail
