Change Hello all, I am a 46 year old man and I'm trying to change. I have recently started exercising to lose weight, reading to improve my memory and brain power and talking to new people to improve my people skills. Exercising and reading are things I can do myself, I have good days and bad days. I'm still trying to hit that point where my habits are changed. They say it takes 21 days to change a habit. It will probably take me longer since I have had bad habits for years. My problem is the people skills, even as I try to meet people, I'm not good at small talk, so when I do meet a woman and I try to get to know her I run out of things to say in our first couple of meetings. But once I get to know a woman I can talk her ear off, but like I said it takes several meetings before I talk.
