3 am Thunderstorms

3 am Thunderstorms Ugh. I am terrified of thunderstorms. Have been since I was a . My palms sweat, stomach is in knots and my heart races. I've been known to jump up out of my bed, running out of my room because of the sound of thunder. Doesn't help that a few trees have been struck by lightning outside of homes I've lived in. Way too close for comfort. At 30 years old they still scare me to where I have to close my eyes so I don't see the lightning and plug my ears to not hear the thunder. LOL I always blame my mom because she was terrified of storms when she was pregnant with us. Passed it straight to me in the womb. Was doomed from the start. |

I am more likely to walk out into the rain and watch as dangerous as that can be. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

 hi. storms can freak anybody out. you need a friend to hug when u are scared like that. i was born on east coast of canada. we didnt get those wam boom bang storms just lot of rain and crazy winds. yep had a few trees come down but u just get up and cut up firewood thatsv the way it was no time todaly. when i moved to western canada i got the real freakin shock of a lightining and thunder. i was so freaked out i jumped out of bed and turned on the tv to look for an evacuation detail. my gf at the time was laughing her ass of looking at me being so freaked out. but i am used to it now. like i said a good friend next to u will help you lots. call me if u see a big storm coming and i will try to make you feel safe/secure.  . i actually had a uncle that got hit by lighting TWICE lol. he lived to be in his 90's lol. take care. dont be scared face your fears. hope this helps you. have a great day. take care. bruce
