Trump Via Nixon It dawned on me today when Nixion was brought up in the Kavanaugh hearing. First history is senile at times, Edison VS Westinghouse for one. It was the fight for what type of electricity we'd use. Now although Edison's name comes up when thinking about it and even some like mine (SCE) the E is for Edison. But it's Westinghouse's idea and power we use. Your phone, credit Bell? No Bell worked in the Patten Office and literally stold the idea. The inventor new to the country, poor in the English language and no background in mechanical drawing. Enter politics, lets talk Segregationists they would be the Dems. Which side fought to end it, the Repubs. Sure many jumped on the band wagon when it was clear the bill would pass, the "Royal We" as they say. Like adding your name to the present your sister bought for mom. But now to the point. Nixon was a very good President and surely not one sided. Most of the EPA rules came from his time in office and he touched in many other areas enjoyed by all but no credit is given as most see him as a black spot upon our nation. When you boil it all down all he did was to try to cover for a friend who did something wrong. Hindsight being 20 20 he shouldn't of done it or just pardoned him after the fact which is completely leagal. Note the drug Kingpins Obama set free. Or bill giving a pass to a friend that owed a pile of money in back taxes and worse. Trump in my opinion has done some great things with more in the works. But Nixon didn't face anything close to what Trump get tossed at him. Idea turns to accusation, accusation is taken as fact. Put together most of the Dems, many of the RINOs and the vast majority of the press. To be honest I don't know how he functions but glad he still can against all that. I hope he make it through all of this and sadly as I showed above I have little faith that history will ever get it right. I'll be spinning in my grave in year 2100 when those above ground celebrate Obama Day, A man who did so much good to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize within his first twenty days of being in office. They say everything lives forever on the Internet, I hope it's my Rants that drew attention instead of my boobs. |

Just for the record...I watched a network ( I think it was CBS ) one on one interview with Obama. He was asked directly, "What did you do to deserve the Nobel Prize..." His direct response was, "I have no idea..." Need I say more?

Boy .. ain't that the truth. Especially on this site. Woe be to the person that tries to point out that error. The A*F*F hater posse will descend on you like vultures. I'd be willing to bet that if the tech existed back in Nixon's day he'd be skewered just like Trump but maybe not as bad because ... let's face it ... Trump can be his own worst enemy at times. I find it so funny that back to back we had the President with the most advantage to the one with the worse. I recall all the stupid question Obama was tossed by the press while never giving a shit of all the things he's fucking up. Trump can't buy a break, he could cure cancer but then be blamed for over population. They don't even hide it, calling on resession so to Blame Trump...
