Distance

No matter how far away she is
The distance means nothing
love and lust
Is in the presence of beloved
I crave to be near her
In any place she is
I will find a way to be with her
The skies cannot contain me
The concrete highway
Will not slow me
I will have her side
In this she will know
resolve
I will have her
And I will take her
Inside, outside
In strange exotic places
In familiar settings
Because our passion is such
That we only perceive each other
And not those around us
Let me cross the distance
And start our adventure

 Okay.. yes, nice poem , but the reality is; people have 15 weeks, give or take a week, to get back together again.... after that, the desire , or infatuation , dissipates.
