Looks like I Overdid it again..........
Looks like I Overdid it again.......... Right, It's been about 4 days since I went to the gym and my arms are still sore. I's my own fault really, I focused on one thing for the entire session[shoulder press], and reached that stage where my brain sent the push instruction, but nothing happened! I had just run out of energy. I thought I might try another exercise - crunches perhaps? , but that didn't work either. I had the dreaded jelly-arms. I was left stranded on the exercise mat. I tried to get up but as my arms wern't working I kind of just keeled over. Thought it best to get out of there before I made a twat of myself, looked and was relieved to find that nobody had noticed. Great! I scrambled to my feet and made for the door (pushing it with my shoulder as I went). You'd think I'd have learned by now! I'll try not to loose momentum though, I did 110 lengths of the (admitedly not Olympic) pool the week before and was looking to follow it up.. I was looking at my arms afterwards; trying to figure out if they looked bigger - then realised that if they did it was because they were swollen! Cardio next week (if I make it!) Wish me luck!
