One more little story... the scamming never stops.. lol
A couple weeks ago, surfing the local profiles I saw a picture of a very beautiful young lady. Now the alarms went off right away but I did mail her - she claimed to live in a VERY small town near me, one I happen to drive through every day.
I wrote her that I couldn't believe she was for real but I would keep my eyes peeled when driving through the town from now on. No reply of course.
Last night, on my way home I stopped at a service station near the town. At the same time is a young, attractive women getting a drink as well. We left at the same time, and I ended up behind her on the road. Yeah, fantasies of her waving at me and all that pop in my head (what can i say - I'm a guy). I passed her (4 lane hwy) and continued on my way - she stayed close behind me and ended up turning into the little town.
The rest of the drive home I thought, 'could it have been?" She doesn't look exactly the same but we all know how that works here on Gay Hookup Zone.
At home I looked up the profile and sent off another note describing the incident and asking if there was any chance she was this person.
Here was 'her' reply:
I hate this email here, it seems like it never works? Ok, some times it works, sometimes it doesn't. Let me wish that it will work this time. Well anyways, Well how are you? I wanted to write you and see if you would like to chat for a bit. Let's hook up for a date or something and see where it all leads to. Want to see? Email me here at, (email addy remove - but she had it here). I really doubt that I would even get it if you wrote back here. Will you tell me more things about your self? Tell me about your fantasies and your naughy side. Mine are good ones and I will tell you all about them See Yah!
Did I write? Sure, I always have a 'throw away' addy for just such things, knowing I could be setting myself up to be put on a mail list as a sex starved male.
Now I wait for the reply, and then her profile will be toast, one less scammer out there hopefully

Here is a little story about someone scamming on Gay Hookup Zone.
Last week someone started a blog, a "woman" who claims she plays poker online. Her lil post said she liked to play it naked or scantily clothed, whatever..... A ton of people replied of course, one of them being myself. It wasn't the naked part that interested me, just the poker part since I too play online.
I even sent her a little 'hello' Gay Hookup Zone email introducing myself and wishing her luck in her aspirations to become a poker pro.
Yesterday I get a reply to my email - its not personal, the poor girl reports she has had 600 e-mails and she just can't reply personally to them all. But she will be hosting some private tourney's on some un-named site soon and will let me know.
DUH!! What an idiot I am. Soon I will get a message telling me where to go to sign up for an account and for a small deposit I am sure I will get some wonderful bonus.... and all I will need to do is use "her" as a refferral. And guess what - she is making money..... So I am trying to decide if I should report "her" or wait it out to see it unfold.
Wonder if any of the other 599 dummies figgured it out yet.....

Do winks do any good? I never really use them, since I actually have a paid membership I can just send an e-mail. But I did wink at someone yesterday (or maybe the day before). And today she viewed my profile and my blog.... but no message from her.
I am amused. This person was someone I had been talking to (via my paid profile) and they just kinda stopped, no reason given. Maybe by now they have put two and two together and realize who I am, I am betting they never come back here to see this post.
So for me - the wink worked, she is indeed still checking the site out and it appears I lacked something she was interested in. Or she wasn't up front with me (as in she wasn't a she or her situation was not what it seemed).
Ok, everyone except the person I winked at skip this paragraph (lol)!
Hmmm... I am sounding pretty juvenile here... better go back to posting about Cookie Monster.

Ring a bell? I am the perfect age to relate to Sesame Street, I think it started around 1969 or so. I remember my mom telling me about a new show, and loving it, every thing from Kermit to Mr. Hooper to of course Cookie Monster.
Cookie Monster, the cute blue creature that would eat everything and anything that got close to it's mouth. COOOKKKIIIIEEE!!!
So as many of you probably now know the makers of Sesame Street have decided to teach Cookie Monster to be healthier - including learning a new song called "Cookies are sometimes food."
I don't know about you, but I never dropped an anvil on my brothers head (a la Roadrunner/Coyotee) and I never overate because I saw Cookie Monster do it.
Guess I'm just getting old.
oh... sex sex sex... there - now this post has some sex in it too.

Hmmm... I have only half a thought here but wanted to get something up.
Earlier today I got to thinking. I am currently 39, soon to be 40. Now the only reason that will be a milestone to me is because so many other people treat it as such. Those of you over or close to it 40 are probably nodding your head, those under 40 may not understand but maybe most of you can relate to turning 30 (and those under 30 - well - I hate you!! Kidding!!).
I don't feel any different, yeah I have a few extra lines in my face compared to when I was 30. Mentally I sure have a lot more experiences to rely on when I need to make a decision. But emotionally I am still in my 20's in my heart I think.
Now some people look 50 when they are 40 - we all know that, mother nature is not as kind to some of us as it is to others. I would count myself on the lucky side.
I do not work out every day, hell, I have a $700 treadmill that I haven't walked on in several years (I keep telling myself I will start again tommorow). The pictures on my profile and blog are me - no, no six pack there, but it doesn't look to bad.
I have almost all my hair still, granted the hairline has been slowly creeping back, and some day I will probably look like David Letterman with that lil island of hair in front, but for now when I comb my hair (not COMB OVER), I still look like the BEST after pictures in hairclub for men.
Damn I take a long time to get to my point......
My question... should I crank back my age in my profile? Actually I am not even sure if I can, but lets say for the sake of an argument I can. I have been told by more than one person that I could easily pass for someone in their mid-30's - should I shave 5 years off my age in my profile in order to increase the odds of meeting women in their 30's who often put a barrier - mental or otherwise on anyone 40 and over?
Now some of you are going to say no - if they are close minded then they are not worth it. But, speaking from experience, in the past (a long time ago in a galaxy far far away) I did meet someone who was not upfront about their age and I later found out she was several year older than I thought. Guess what? At that point it didn't matter, but if I had known it before I got to know her I might have mentally written her off (yeah - stupid me).
I really think that, at least for me, there has to be an initial physical attraction, something to spark and interest, then comes the mental attraction. I could meet a 50 year old woman, and if she didn't look her age and we connected mentally and I later found out her age, I would be ok with it. But if she looked 50 (my mental image of 50 at least) then chances are I wouldn't think of her in the same way and thus the mental attraction would not develop.
Am I making sense? Think I should take 5 years off my age so I would pop up on more profiles? Hmmmm?

Ok... time for a lil rant.... not too bad...
I made a post late last night - its now been 7 hours and I don't think it is viewable yet.... so if and when it does appear it will be buried at the end of a list..... arghhh, I know some of you make a point to come read my blog and I appreciate that, I do the same for some of you. But for the 'new' people checkign otuthe blogs, I am sure they don't go digging, chances are they miss a lot of good posts.
I wish I could see all the NEW comments and where they were made. this morning it looks like I have 3 new comments but for the life of me I could only find two. And I checked all my old posts looking for that mysterious 3rd one. No clue where it is, if it is even there.
Lastly, to anyone who says they don't know how to post a picture... lame excuse. Sorry, as someone else I know wrote a few days ago, if you don't know how to post a picture then you need some serious computer help. You managed to come here, surf the profiles and you can't figgure out how to post a picture? You are better of saying you don't feel comfortable posting one, I just don't buy that you don't know how.
And, in case you are new to reading the blogs, you can read a person's entire list of posting by clicking on the link just below the menu bar - for example mine says "Cynical? Me? No way!!" - you can also click on this link postingnick and it will take youto the same page.
ok - its now 9:30am eastern - lets see how long this one takes to appear. Not going to post a picture and see if that speeds things up.....

Just curious, and I would imagine this is much easier for women than men.
That being said I will admit to having done so. It certainly is made easier when you have your own office with a door that locks.
I just wonder how many other of my officemates have been doing such things when I have walked by their office.
Or perhaps you have a good story about getting caught at work, or maybe even being risky - perhaps you only have a cubicle and you have still managed to pull it off (guys, excuse the pun).

Motorcycles get the ladies right?

Ok... had to share this....
Now I used to have a motorcycle, and yeah, just like men in uniform it seems some women are drawn to guys on motorcycles. Actually I think it is usually the motorcycle more than the guy on it that gets women's attention.
So I am driving to work today, and as I have said before this involves driving on a large college campus.
Of course now that the temperatures are warm enough the motorcycles are out in abundance.
Today, as I was waiting at a light, watching the students cross, I see a motorcycle driving across the pedestrian path with the students. Then up on the curb and along the sidewalk.
Now why was this guy doing this you ask? Because it was one of those MINI motorcycles. I you not, this guy was actually driving one of those tiny motorcycles across campus. Someone seriously needs to clue him in. I never figgured out why someone would buy one anyways, but I guess one use is to drive around a large college town for the other students amusement, 'cause I can guarentee you this guy isn't getting any women now. Not that one could fit on the bike with him anyways.
Parents, and I know some of you reading this have college age - or soon to be college age .... when JR. wants to take the mini-motorcycle he got for his birthday to college with him, STOP HIM!!

So my luck on Gay Hookup Zone has been pretty much zilch as of late. The one reason I do check in here is the blog. Its nice to be able to vent when you don't have any close friend that you would confide things in.
The woman that messaged me last week..... the one that that I was not as close as she might have thought by my profile, but still close enough to meet... never replied to my message (there is 20+ minutes wasted on a reply).
On the flip side, totally unrelated to Gay Hookup Zone is the woman I used to chat and cam with 7 years ago. When I say cam, I simply mean video chat, nothing more. She was 26 when we met online, I was 32. She was smart, beautiful and funny back then and still is today. She is miles and miles and MILES away. Was single when we first started talking and now married with .
Its been an interesting week to say the least. No there will never be anything more than an online friendship between us but it has been very nice chatting and flirting. I don't think she is happy in her current situation, to be honest it sounds like her husband is taking her for granted and is a work-a-holic. What a numbskull - he seems to assume (and has told her) that she would NEVER look at other men, and trust me, she turns heads where ever she goes. She has been told she looks like Catherine Zeta-Jones and I agree.
How is this for long term planning? She may be in Chicago in January and, as of now, we plan on finally meeting and my guess we will ONLY have lunch. Some friendships are not worth screwing up with by bringing in sex (I can't belive I said that!).

Ok, I know a lot of you are 'standard' member so you can't easily view profiles... I am located in Indiana - so for us spring has finally sprung - was actually in the 80's yesterday.
Taking out the trash this morning, it seems a bug of some type bit me. You forget about bug bites during the winter.
I cut the lawn for the first time this year, there was 2+ hours I could have spent doing.... hmmmmmm nothing?
There are flies in the house, hadn't seen one since November, man they annoy me.
I have more interesting things to write, but I will save that for my next blog post. Don't want to overwhelm all one of my faithful readers - lol.

Well, actually I have no idea what it is like, but since I started this lil blog I have posted every day so I figgured I should at least put something up.
A beautiful day here in the midwest. Had a lady contact me whom I think just saw my picture and profile (not my blog) - She appreciated that I didn't have a picture of my penis, as several ladies have commented on. I replied and informed her about my blog and that I wasn't exactly in Indy (where my profile lists me as) - that might have screwed the possibilities because I haven't heard from her since - but ya never know. I am still hoping to hear back from her, from her profile she seemed to be someone that I would at the very least like to meet and spend some time getting to know.

I really did not post the same message 2 times (actually it has it posted 3 times but I deleted one). But I am afraid to delete one of them in case there is a comment that will turn up later. So they will both stay there for a bit.
If you feel you have been lured into a worthless blog posting, please check my post on April 6th - It has only had 20 some views and its the longest post I have ever made - kinda dissapoints me that more have not seen it!!!
