Words cannot express my sadness. The world has lost a great man. To honor his memory, I will do my best to replace my sorrow with laughter, because I believe that is the way he would have wanted it. Rest in Peace Mr. Carlin. You will truly be missed.

Crown thy good into temptation but deliver us from the twilight's last gleaming. Amen and Awomen.

An excerpt from Joe Knetter's "Zombie Bukkake"...if you have the time and patience to read it.

The zombies stood in a circle. From his vantage point, Foley
could not fully see what was going on. He only heard the soft
moans of the zombies. He crouched back down behind the
garbage cans. Whatever they were doing was keeping them
occupied. He was pretty sure he could dart around them and
be out of the alley before they even noticed him. He stood up,
ready to run when he saw the ladder bolted to the wall. The
ladder led up to a balcony on the second floor. He turned and
looked at the zombies again. They continued to moan. More
had joined the circle. There had to be at least thirty of them
gathered around. As he scanned the zombies he noticed a
couple looking at him. They stared at him and bared their
teeth. He prepared for the onslaught but it was all for naught.
The zombies ignored him and looked back down towards the
ground. In the hours since the outbreak this was the first time
he had seen them not advance on the living. What was holding
their attention? What were they staring at? He had to know.
He turned and grabbed a hold of the ladder and began
climbing up. The sound of his wet shoes making contact with
the metal squeaked loudly. He raced up expecting to feel dead
hands pulling at his legs. When he reached the second floor
landing he looked down and none had moved. Many more had
joined the circle. He stretched to look into the circle of zombies
but couldn’t see anything. Another ladder led to the third floor.
He began to climb it. It now was more than curiosity for him.
This could be a way to end the outbreak. If something could
hold their attention then they could be easily grouped together
and destroyed. He reached the third floor and turned around.
There was a woman kneeling in the center of the circle. Her
back was facing towards Foley. She was jerking off two
zombies. Drool dripped from their lips as she stroked their
cocks. Her head was moving forward and back quickly. She
was obviously performing fellatio on the zombie in front of her.
The other zombies stood around in a circle masturbating.
Some of the zombie’s cocks had rotted off right into their
hands. Still they shook it back and forth, kind of like mixing a
baby’s bottle. The zombie she was giving head to arched his
back. A rib poked out of his chest and black fluid began to spill
out. At the same time he groaned. Foley could see the
zombie’s dead cock begin to squirt. “Arrghhhhh”, the zombie
moaned as he began dousing her with semen. Thick jets of
spooge bounced all over her. Some landed in her hair, some
shot all the way over her head. The two zombies she was
jerking off also began to ejaculate, as did a few of the ones
that were pleasuring themselves. It was like a fire hydrant
going off as the dead shot life all over her face and body.
Foley noticed that some of the semen was moving, crawling.
He was horrified as he realized that some of the more
decomposed bodies weren’t ejaculating semen. They were
cumming maggots. The woman let go of the zombie cocks she
had just drained and turned completely around facing Foley and
smiled. Foley’s lip began to quiver and he felt on the verge of
passing out. She was a mess. Cum and maggots covered her
from head to toe. Her left eye was completely spooged shut.
She reached up with her left hand and wiped cum out of her
eyes and down into her mouth. She greedily gobbled it up.
Another zombie began to ejaculate and she turned to face them
taking their entire load into her mouth. She flicked her tongue
back and forth licking her lips. She reached out and grabbed a
zombie dick in each hand and began to yank on them. The
zombies moaned. The woman’s eyes sparkled as she looked
up at Foley. They were alive as can be. She was enjoying
every minute of the zombie bukkake. Foley stood and looked
at his cum covered wife and threw up. Deidre only smiled
wider.
“Come down here honey”, she said as she jacked off the dead,
waiting hungrily for their seed. “This is what turns you on isn’t
it? Come down here and join in. I must be honest with you
though, since you are my husband and I love you. I think I
prefer the taste of dead cum over yours.” All the zombies
began to ejaculate at the same time. Their semen shot in the
air like a hose. All of their streams of goo met about thirty feet
in the air, directly above her head, where they blended together
swirling in the air like a cloud before flowing down upon her in
one big stream. Foley opened his mouth to scream but before
he could utter a single sound a large lightning strike of man
juice erupted from the cloud splattering into him. He turned his
head and coughed out what he could but the cum kept barreling
into him, pushing him into the building. He tried to move but
slipped and fell. The river of cum carried him down the steps,
like a waterslide, where he landed two floors down in a sea of
spooge. He paddled and fought the current that was pulling
him towards the zombies and his wife. It was no use. The
zombies parted and he flowed right into the center of the circle,
where he came face to face with his wife. The semen had quit
showering. He was able to sit up.
“How could you let this happen”, she said crying. Her face
was filled with disgust and fear. Before he could reply, smoke
began to roll off of her face. Her skin began to drip off where
the cum was. Foley watched terrified and hopeless as his wife
melted into a sludgy mess before him. Zombies began to
scoop up the liquefied remnants and stuff them in their mouths.
He tried to get up but couldn’t. The cum had suddenly
hardened and he was trapped sitting Indian style in the center
of the circle. The inner layer of zombies stepped back and for
a second he thought they were leaving. He wasn’t happy with
the thought. At this point all he could think about was dying.
He didn’t want to live, not without Deidre. He put his head
down and began to sob. The sound of zombies went away and
he looked up. Standing in front of him were some familiar
faces; Del, Jon, Brian, Phil and Desean.
“Guys. What are you doing here? Help me. My wife….oh
god…she just melted. She fucking melted.” None of the men
spoke or acknowledged him. They just stared.
Del was the first to move. He unzipped his fly and pulled out
his big, black, uncircumcised cock and began stroking it. The
rest followed suit. All his friends began to form a circle jerk
around him. Foley closed his eyes and when he opened them
he saw a single man standing in front of him looking down.
“Jesus Christ. No. Don’t fucking cum on me. Please don’t. I
don’t wanna melt”, Foley screamed as he sat up.
“Fuck man. Calm down. You’re ok. Shit.” The bald man
said. From behind him came a couple more men looking
worried. They were all dressed in black army style pants and
vests. They had a logo over they’re right shirt pocket that said
ZS. They carried guns.
Foley sat up.
“Must have been some fucking dream”, the man said as he
reached out a canteen full of water towards Foley. Foley
grabbed the canteen and took a big swig. It was warm and he
choked on it. Some water spilled out of his mouth and ran
down his chin. He wiped it off with his sleeve, thought about
the dream and fought with all his might to keep from vomiting.
“Names Gary”, the man said outstretching his hand, “We’re the
zombie squad.”

Most instant messenger services that I have come across (including the crappy Gay Hookup Zone one) have this nifty little feature called a status message. This thing it really great. One can use this feature to let others on their friend's list to see their current status. For example, if you are away from the computer, you can put up a little message that says "away from my computer." Similarly, if you are busy, you can put up a little message notifying your "friends" that you are "busy" at the moment. Some messengers even offer a little symbol, a red circle with a while slash through it indicating that you are busy for those of your friends who may not be able to read so well. It is a really neat feature and can be very helpful.

What I don't understand is why, some people will repeatedly send you instant messages when your status meesage says you are "away" or "busy." They continue to send messages and become angry when you do not respond to your messages. Does anyone have an insight into this matter. I would surely appreciate it.

I have a male friend. He's a good guy...nice, fun to hang out with, insightful, and we have a lot in common. These are the reasons we are friends. I've known him over 2 years now. We worked together for awhile, which is how I know him. Now this guy is you're stereotypical "relationship" guy. He goes from serious relationship to serious relatinship without blinking. In all the time, I have known him, he had only been without a girlfriend for a brief period after he broke up with one and didn't yet start dating the next. I am the complete opposite. I avoid relationships like the plague. I remember talking to him during this period without a girlfriend. I told him..."What you need is friend with benefits" You can still get some but all of the relationship drama crap isn't there.

One night, fairly early into our friendship, during his no-girlfriend break, we went out and had a few drinks with friends, then went back to his place to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre. (He is a horror freak like me.) He started to kinda put the moves on me, which kinda suprised me, because it was the first time, in all the times we had hung out together, that he had tried anything. I had a difficult time with this because, though I admit that I was attracted to him, we did work together and see each other almost every day. This could turn into a really bad situation. Not to mention, I had been drinking so my judgement wasn't at his best. Lucky, he wasn't too terribly persistent and he eventually just fell asleep. Nothing was ever mentioned about that night. Soon after, he was in another serious relationship and things went back to normal. We were still friends. We actually went to Chicago and back together, which was the true test, but absolutely nothing happened. At least I know he's not a cheater.

Eventually, he got another job. We continued to be friends but didn't see each other that much anymore. Every so often, out schedules will mess and we'll get to hang out, but not much. Then, a couple of weeks ago, he broke up with his girlfriend. It was amicable. They agreed that the "spark" just wasn't there or whatever. Last night was the first time we got to hangout since the breakup. Another friend of his was over and we hung out, had a few drinks, listened to music, goofed around, etc. Lo and behold, It's 5 am amd we're still whooping it up. So we all collectively decided to go into the bedroom and watch a movie. So we did. Eventually, the friend passes out. Guess what happens then??? Yep, he starts putting on the moves again. I was still hesitant for some reason. It wasn't quite as weird as before, probably because we don't see each other as often as before. I mean, the situaton was ideal. We were there, he was single, for once. Why was I so hesitant? I think it had something to do with that line between friends and more than friends. What is it about that line that is so powerful?

Yesterday my co-worker, who I haven't known long, but would still consider a frend, returned to work after a weeks vacation. Of course, I ask her how her vacation was. She told me that she had done a lot of soul searching and has decided to make a lot of changes in her life. She told me that she was moving back home (2 hours away) This, of course, means that I'll no longer get to work ot hang out socially with her, which makes me sad. It also means that she is leavng her boyfriend/housemate of 11 years. The news kind of caught me offguard and I didn't know how to react. I realized that this was a major decision for her so I decided on the supportive approach. The whole, "You have to do what is best for you" attitude. After thinking a bout it a bit, I wonder if that was the right approach. By supporting and encouraging her I worry that she will feel that she isn't valued as a co-worker or a friend...like i don't care that she is leaving.

If you were going through something like this, wha is the best thing your friends could do for you?

Ok, so I'm about a week late, but I was really sick last week, so my brain was not functioning well enough to string together complete sentences. Anyway, on to the task at hand....Rob Zombie's Halloween.

I am quite saddened and a bit perturbed at all of the negative reviews that I've read about this movie. The biggest gripe I see is that it is not true to the original or that it "ruined" the Halloween series. Now if "Halloween: Resurrection" didn't "ruin" the Halloween series, nothing can. I'm really not all that surprised at ll of the bad reviews. I guess I saw it coming. I, personally, have followed the progress of this movie since I first heard about it over a year ago. I've seen quite a few interviews with Rob Zombie and the aspects of the movie that he has stressed in every interview were...

1.) This is NOT a remake. It is a prequel/re-imaging of the original.

2.) This movie will delve deeper into the childhood of Michael Myers and examine why he became the way he is/was.

Now, I would think that Rob Zombie made a repeated effort to point out these things because he wanted to prepare his audience for what the movie would entail. He's no moron. I'm sure he anticipated the uproar that this movie would cause. Now, I will be the first to admit...when I hear the word "remake" I think, "oh boy...this is gonna suck" Particularly if it is a remake of a classic or a movie that I love. Carpenter's "Halloween" is both. This is why, I believe, Rob Zombie was so adamant about pointing out that this movie is NOT a remake. He actually decided to put some creativity into this movie rather than rehashing the story that we have heard soooo many times. Granted, I am a bit biased when it comes to Rob Zombie's filmaking because I am such a fan of his work. Even so, this movie really got a bad . It seems to me, that many are unable to view this movie separately from the original. It is a shame because this movie is awesome on it's own merits. I've actually encountered several people who had not seen Carpenter's version. (Weird, I know.) Coincidentally, they liked Zombie's version.

I don't want to give away anything about the movie out of respect for those who may not have seen it. Though I will say, the cameos are great and include a Monkee and a House of 1000 Corpses/Devil's Rejects mini reunion. Other than that, I have not lost an ounce on faith in Rob Zombie. I still think he's a genius.

I'm so stoked to see Halloween this Friday. I've been anxiously awaiting this movie since I first heard about it abou a year ago. I've been counting down days since the release date was announced. It's finally almost here.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am boarderline obsessed with horror movies. Halloween has alwasy held a speial place in my heart since it was the trail blazer for the slasher flicks we've come to know and love. Anyone who knows me also knows that I hold Rob Zombie's filmmaking in the highest regard. In my eyes, he is a genius. Oh and Bill Moseley has a cameo in the film, which I , of course, am very much looking forward to.

I'll report back with a full review next week. Until then.

HI all. It's been way too long since I've posted anything and I know at least a few of you were following my job seeking saga. It seems my patience and persistance paid off. I now have a job in my field, making decent money. I've been there a month now, and I love it so far. money is still tight at the moment because the first thing I did once my bills were up to date was take care of my student loans. They had already taken my last tax check and I knew that garnishment of wages wasn't far off so I wanted to take care of them ASAP. So now I am in a program to get them out of default. It's costing me a fortune for 9 months but after that, I will be out of default and can refinance and have "normal" payments. It kinda sucks since I had been broke so long, I was really looking forward to having some money. Oh well at least I will have this huge burden off of my chest. I can handle being broke for a few more months.

On a sad note, my favorite uncle passed away this weekend. It was all pretty unexpected. He was only 58. He had had health problems for awhile now...10 or 15 years. He was diagnosed with hepatitis years ago and had done very well staying healthy. Some years later he was diagnosed with colon cancer, which he came out of well. About a month and a half ago he went to see his doc for a persistant sore throat and found out that he had a tumor on his larynx that turned out to be cancerous. I spoke to him at length on the 4th of July about it and he was in good spirits about it. He had decided to have surgery and then chemo. He had the surgery the week before last and it turned out better than expected. He wouldn not need chemo after all. After a week in the hospital he came home. Saturday morning he got up and was in the bathroom when my other uncle heard a crash and went in to see what happened. My uncle had fallen into the bathtub and died within a minute or so. No one is sure exactly what killed him. I'm guessing either a blood clot or an heart attack. Regardless, it is extrememly tragic. My dad has to bury his brother; My granparents have to bury their ; and my cousin has to bury her dad. I am the type to try and fnd a positive side to everything but it is damn hard to find positive in something like this.

This is all pretty new to me actually. I've had loved ones die before but it has always been kind of expected or, at least, not that much of a shock. This is different. My uncle was cool and vibrant and always full of life, even when he was sick. He had great taste in music and is very much responsible for making me the music lover that I am. He was always great to talk to and he loved talking about great movies we'd seen or hillarious moments on Seinfeld. We always got along great. When I was a , I used to hang out at his house with my dad while they listened to records (yes, records!!!!) He had shelves and shelves of them and I used to sit there for hours flipping through them and looking at the pictures on them. I vivdly remember the Rolling Stone's "Sticky Fingers" album with the picture of a guys denim clad croth with a real working zipper!! That one was my favorite. When I got older, he became the one to hang out with at family gatherings. We had so much in common and liked so many of the same things that we could talk about stuff for hours. He was always amazed at how much I knew about stuff(music, movies, etc) that happened before my time.

Anyway, I know I'm rambling about someone that none of you know. I just needed to get it out really. I have tried so much these last few days to be there for my dad and my cousin and my granparents that I haven't had a chance to let out my own emotions. So if I have bored you to death, I apologize. Thanks for listening.

Over the past few weeks, a letter written by Sgt. Howard C. Wright USMC has appeared numerous times in my inbox on on the myspace bulletins. The letter is as follows:

Guess I will not be drinking Starbucks any more. Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee. So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting street-to-street and house-to-house. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will ever know. Thanks very much for your support. I know you'll all be there again when I deploy once more.

Semper Fidelis. "Sgt. Howard C. Wright
1st Force Recon Co1st Plt

After seeing it so many times and knowing that the internet is a breeding ground for rumors and urban legends, I took it upon myself to investigate. It didn't seem wise to me that an international corporation would make such a foolish move, even if they didn't support the war. So, I turned to a website that I frequent called that is in the business of investigating rumors and urban legends. I found that Sgt Wright did, in fact, write and circulate this letter. I also found out that this letter was written due to a major misunderstanding. Though this letter is being widely circulated via the internet, I have not yet once seen Sgt. Wright's follow up letter which reads:

Dear Readers,

Almost 5 months ago I sent an email to you my faithful friends. I did a wrong though that needs to be cleared up. I heard from word of mouth about how Starbucks said they didn't support the war and all. I was having enough of that kind of talk and didn't do my research properly like I should have. This is not true. Starbucks supports the men and women in uniform. They have personally contacted me and I have been sent many of their company's policy on this issue. So I apologize for this quich wrong letter I sent out to you. Now I ask that you all pass this email around to everyone you passed to last one to. Thank you very much for understanding about this.

Howard C Wright
Sgt. USMC

To set the record straight, I don't work for Starbucks, nor do I know anyone that does. In fact, I don't even like coffee and have never bought anything from Starbucks myself. Nor is this a reflection of my personal feelings toward the war or the military I'm posting this simply to show that you should not believe everything you hear or read. All too often, people are quick to believe the negative rumors that they hear without taking the time to find out the truth, Personally, I think it was quite admirable for Sgt. Wright to admit his mistake and try to correct it. However, it seems as though the original, negative e-mail was a much better read and was much more widely circulated.

Not that many people read my blog, but I thought those of you who replied to my post about finding a job might be interested in knowing what's been going on with me employment wise. I decided to take the temporary job at the University. There were just too many red flags with the other job to ignore. Also, my financial situation needed serious help quickly and the temp job provide more money and sooner. It's actually a good thing I chose the one I did since I was unable to work out care arrangements for my for the other job (which was third shift.)

So I took the temp job. It was only supposed to last until May 25th, but as of today (June 19th) I am still working there. It can be boring at times because it's an office job, but all in all, I like it. Meanwhile, I was called about a really good job and I just had my second interview for it yesterday.

I truly believe I made the right decision. The temp job had provided a paycheck and allowed me to catch up on my bills. It's also bought me some time to find a job that I really like. So if you're reading this, send good vibes my way, so I'll get this job!! Thanks for listening.

I try to visit the advice lines on his site at least once a day. I usually find it quite entertaining. Thee is a common trend, though, that constantly leaves me shaking my head in disbelief. The honest legitimate questions often receive minimal responses. 10, maybe 20 people respond to them. The dumb ass attention seeking questions receive tons of responses. Today, for example, there was a question that was clearly posted to get a rise out of people. It currently has 71 responses and I'm sure that more are to come. Why? When it is so obvious that someone posts (often repeatedly) things that are intended to offend and piss people off; Why respond to it. Responding is giving the poster exactly what he/she wants....attention. Here are all of these people going on about what an ass this person is and they are eating it up, thinking of what they can post next. The internet is the ideal place for these attention seekers. They can say things that they wouldn't dare say to anyone face to face and get loads of attention for it. Meanwhile those who post serious questions get pushed aside. Seriously people, do typed words from a faceless person really insight that much anger in you? Read the post, if you must, laugh at what an ass the person is, and move on. Moving on is exactly what these people will do when they stop getting the attention they so desperately seek.
