| I'm 52, single and comfortable with it. Over the last 10 years I have spent time reading up on why we (human race) do and say things that don't seem quite right. One that still interests me is peoples fascination with trying to find "true love" and the frustrations we/they go through in an attempt to find it. You see on dating sites and message boards, threads on "why domen/women, etc etc, usually all the same type of topic with differant slants and rants.
I believe most of us have no understanding of ourselves let alone what we want when it comes to romance yet we continue the search leaving chaos and confusion behind us.
Maybe we should be teaching our children about human instinct as oppossed to social ideals and religious standards that all seem a reather nice place to be but because thye mostly go against our instincts they cuase us to believe we are not normal thus raising anxiety anf frustration. |

well been a while but back and thought I would post something. Hmmm can't think of anything, wait a minute I have a whinge.
Here goes, can someone explain why so many profiles have the same sort of thing like "on Sundays"and 'I',m not changing my life'etc
can't people be more original than that or don't they have anything of any note to post.
I realise this is a haven for those that like to live in a fantasy world (I won't say liars as that would be wrong  and post what others may take a interest in but mostly I think we can see through this or maybe we don't want to and just live the fantasy with them until the reality of a meet then reality hits.
Whinge over carry on

Why do some think it is sad if you don't follow their beliefs

made a couple of posts re relationships and was called sad because I asked if people beliefed in romantic love.
Maybe I am sad to them, their perception or ignorance, but how sad is to not be able to look at other views and at least hear it ou.
