I just got back from my so-called vacation last night, and I'm SO glad it's over! Visits with family should be limited by law to 3 days at the most.
I discovered something interesting though...there really aren't too many attractive men (or women for that matter) in the back woods of Appalachia. Even when I looked past the dirt and the stained t-shirt and the mullet...not hot. I know attractive people exist in the South. I've seen them (and slept with a few) in the past.
Perhaps it's just time for some new additions to the gene pool in some of those places. Don't get me wrong...I'm not saying that all Southerners are inbred...I was born in the South. However, when you go to church, are related to everyone there, AND GET HIT ON, I think that's a sign that it's time for some diversity.
Maybe someone can start an exchange program.

The problem with small towns

I live in a very small very conservative community. Do you have any idea how fun that makes meeting people from this site? That's why I don't show a face pic and and say I'm from the closest large town to here. I just really don't want certain people to know I have a profile up...it could cause me alot of trouble.
Anyway, I've had a couple of amusing run-ins that I thought I'd share. First, I had been emailing this couple and when we started chatting on YIM, I noticed her screen name...then she mentioned her husband's first name. Well, I put two and two together and realized that I'd been to their house! We had a good laugh over that one.
The second encounter I'm still not 100% sure about yet. I've been emailing someone, sometimes chatting...enough to know his real first name. Well, yesterday I was at a community function and was introduced to a man... Maybe this is all a product of my overactive imagination, but I thought to myself...same race, same height, same age, same body type, same first name, same place of residence...hmmm. I think I know the first letter of his last name...I'll have to check that out today. It's especially interesting since the people who introduced me to him are the same ones who introduced me to this site, and they have no idea their friend could be on here too.

I had a good day. Isn't it always good when you run into your ex and you not only look better than you did when you were with them, but they look worse than you?
I almost feel bad for my almost-ex-husband. He unexpectedly ran into me with a huge group of my coworkers. That couldn't have made his day. Add to that the fact that he couldn't completely pretend not to know me (though he tried) since he had his (and currently my) last name written in black marker on the back of his backpack. (I never said he was high-class)
He's gained a pretty good amount of weight since we split up. In fact I'd say that he's probably gained almost as much weight as I've lost! And I must admit that I take a certain juvenile satisfaction from that. LOL.
Don't hate me.

OK, I think I make it clear on my profile that I'm more interested in friends with benefits than in random sex with strangers. I say that a person's personality can really attract me to them. Maybe I should go back and edit it a bit to really emphasize that point because I keep getting email from guys saying, "hey, I'm gonna be in town this weekend, wanna hook up" and "nice tits, can I play with them?" And it's always guys with a two line profile and no picture...ok, so you want me to hook up with what exactly? I don't want to hook up with Sasquatch with a second grade education, so please give me a reason to believe otherwise about you.
Here's my question...is it wrong for me to reply to their emails telling them what morons they are? Is it mean to suggest to them that they actually read my profile or give me a reason to be interested in them?

I know some of you who read my blog also read the blogs of a couple of friends of mine. So you'll know exactly who I'm talking about in the following story. For those of you who don't read my friends' blogs...have fun figuring out who I'm referring to.
So anyway, last weekend I went out with my good friends M and S and a couple of their friends not worth mentioning. Well, we run into some more of M and S's friends while at the bar, including M's friend K. K is HOT! I consider myself Bi, but it's rare for me to find a girl I just wanna jump into bed with...K's one of those rare girls. I spent all night distracted by wanting to kiss her and touch her......
So anyway, after a bit of drama, me, S, M, and K wind up in the parking lot of my building. It didn't take long to go from the parking lot to my bedroom. 
There we are...3 girls and a guy. S was like a in a candy store...so many women! I think we wore the poor guy out...not that I think he minded one bit.
Now I'm not going to go into all the graphic details. Use your imagination to figure out what 3 Bi women and a straight man would do in bed...chances are we did it.

Pheromones revisited

I think I've come to a tentative conclusion about pheromones based on the events of yesterday. Let me tell you a story:
I was hanging out with a good friend of mine yesterday when she asked me if, since she had to work all night, I'd go to her house and have crazy sex with her husband. Now, I like to think I'm a good friend, and I won't turn down a reasonable request from a friend in need, so I agreed to the favor.
Well, I went home to shower and change first, and after my shower decided to use some of my pheromone-laced after-shower body oil...just because. So I go over to my friend's house, covered in pheromones, and sure enough, have crazy sex with her husband.
So here's my opinion of pheromones: People only wear pheromone products when they're in a sexual mood already. If they're in a sexual mood, they're more likely to have sex. Bottom line...I was getting laid last night with or without pheromonal assistance...and it was very good, thank you.

The "Lifestyle"

More than once I've been chatting with someone who's asked me how long I've been living the Lifestyle. Now, I'm on here as a single woman, not part of a swinging couple, so I'm not sure what "Lifestyle" people assume I'm leading.
I live my life in a style that makes me happy...I guess that's my lifestyle, but I don't think I lead a proper noun, capital L "Lifestyle" as such. I'm into BDSM, and realize that for some people, that can be a Lifestyle, but I've never implied that it was any more than a hobby for me.
My question is this: Do any of you singles out there consider yourselves to be living a "Lifestyle"? If so, what kind of Lifestyle is is? What does it involve? Maybe I'm living a Lifestyle and don't even know it.

What's up with pheramones?

I went to a sort of sexual Tupperware party a few weeks ago and my order came in today...which got me thinking. A couple of the things I ordered just happen to contain pheromones. I didn't order them for that reason, I just wanted to be shiny and glittery.
These pheromones are supposed to increase people's attraction to me or somesuch.
Do any of you have experience with pheromone containing products? Do they seem to work as advertised?
I just have a couple of anecdotes so far, which leads me to an early hypothesis of definitely maybe.
At the party, we were sampling all the products (well, all the bath and body type products, not the bedroom types) most of which contained pheromones. A couple of friends and I went out later that night. First there was this skinny blonde guy that parked himself next to me and wanted to dance every other song. Then these two random (hot!) women asked me to dance with the two of them. Then I made out like a high school student in the back of the minivan on the ride home. Was it pheromones?...or did I just really have it going on that night?
Then, when I got my loot from a friend at work, I decided to use some of the moisturizing pheromone lotion. Well, the hot new guy at work showed quite a bit more interest than usual. Pheromones...or not?

A very important lesson

Well, I learned an important lesson tonight. I spent at least an hour writing a sexy story for you all, only to have it be rejected for "banned words" or somesuch. Of course, I lost all my hard work in the process. Now, I'm not a potty mouth...I found every "naughty" word I used in other people's blogs, so I'm not sure what the problem was.
Anyway the lesson I learned is this: Always write in a word processing program and copy and paste into the blog so I don't lose my story. Grrrrr.

Ok, well a good friend of mine suggested I start a blog, so here it is. I really don't know yet what I will fill this space with, so I hope I don't bore any innocent blog-browsers.
I guess I'll tell you that until recently, I'd been in a bit of a sexual dry spell. Oh, it probably didn't help things any that I spent all my time at work or playing random computer games.
It's really amazing that when I haven't had sex in awhile, I don't really crave it, but now that I'm back in the swing of things (so to speak), I mentally undress my co-workers. I can't tell you how distracting that is to my job performance. I'm actually in the process of creating an elaborate fantasy scenario involving a certain colleague of mine...don't worry, you'll get more of that later.
