I Have a final interview on Saturday so I hope all goes well. Have been communicating via email and meet up on Saturday. So Im holding thumbs. The job is in Noordhoek at a private home. will give more details later.

I found a lovely beach today where one has to pay to enter and am tanning naked with nobody bothering me. How lovely.

Hello again everybody
I arrived in Cape Town at 7.30 last night (Sunday).
Nice to be back and so much cooler than Calitzdorp.
We Capetonians should really appreciate the wind here even though it does get very hot. When I left Calitzdorp it was scorching hot and one stays wet all day and night because of no wind to dry you off.
So for now I have learned to appreciate the Cape Doctor.

Ive had a bad and sad day today. Firstly I overslept and then the day just went South all the way. Its much better now but I am glad this day is behind me.

As some of you may well know I am a vegeterian and have been for the past 25 years. I have no particular reason for choosing this other than that my body just rejects meat so I avoid it.
I eat a very healthy diet of fruit, veg,cereals , pasta, fish , eggs.
Dinner for me tonight was pineapple, sweetmelon, watermelon, pear, banana and grapes with a portion of weetbix brolen up into that and warm custard. I love custard and cant get enough of it. I make my own so I can make it just the way I like it.
During winter months I eat plenty soup (homemade just the way I like it)with as much vegetables as I can possibly add.
I am fit, healthy, athletic build so I must be doing something right although most people seem to think I have the strangest eating habits  . The only time Ive ever seen a doctor was when I had my and my youngest is 25. The only doctor I need to see at the moment is a plastic surgeon.... A facelift is about all I need right now .... Lol

Im feeling quite chuffed with myself at the moment.
I had a 5 day break from work as I worked Christmas and New year and went to Cape Town to dump my baggage. The pest that has been in my life for the past 2 years and 3 months.
I invited him to come and spend some time with me here in the country with the possibility of a job as maintenence manager at the guest house. What a big mistake!!!!!. All he did was embaress me with his drinking and layed about on his lazy arse for most of the day.
Eventually it came to the point of Ive had enough of you and I asked him to leave and go back to Cape Town. He wouldnt leave and said I was not in a position to tell him to leave.
The boss, his wife and myself decided that I would pretend to resign when I took the break. I packed all that I have here with me and he packed his things onto his bakkie and off we went to Cape Town. I spent the days there with him and when Sunday came I told him that I had decided to go back to Calitzdorp and that the boss said it was ok.
What a shock for Mister !!!!!. Begged me to take him with but I refused. I was parked in a parking lot at Big Bay for safety sake when I gave him the news so he couldnt rant and rave and just let me leave quietly.I drove off and left him there and got home to my peacefull little home at 6.30 Sunday evening. I played all my favourite music while I was driving home and my mind didnt wander to him at any time. Its Thursday today and I havent answered his messages or his calls and I dont intend to.
Done and dusted Mister..... Ive had enough !!!!!! I dont ever want to see him again and if he does manage to scrape a few rand together and drive here he will be removed quicker than he can blink an eye.
He was given a fair chance with a nice oppurtunity of a job and a home now he is sitting jobless and homeless. Thanks to his dear friend alcohol once again.

Calitzdorp experienced the worst storm in its history today according to the long standing locals.
Thunder and lightning raged as the sky lit up and the rain came pouring down. Power supply was cut off for a while as well.
I spoke to a local and he says he has never seen thunder and lightning like this in the Karoo before.
One of the ladies that works here with me burst into tears and came very close to hysteria.
As I write this the rain is falling and the thunder is building up in the background and the sun is trying to come through.
 I snucked Stormer inside while the storm was raging. The Boss doesnt like dogs in the cottages but he doesnt need to know  does he

Stormer...... A boerbull came into my life almost 3 months ago. at first he would hide in the bushes in the garden and terrify the hell out of me when I opened my door at night and didnt show himself.
Almost 6 weeks ago he decided to introduce himself to me. The most handsome with the softest eyes and a personality that stole my heart immediately.
I found out from the people around here that he belongs to a neighbouring farmer and he is dying of cancer in the rectum. my heart broke when I heard this and decided to go and see the farmer. He told me that he was going to shoot Stormer soon and I begged him not to do it that way but rather to take him to a vet for an injection.
Eventually we both agreed that Stormer would protect me every night as he has been for almost 3 months without me knowing he was there and when he becomes too sick we would take him to the vet to be put down.
So far , so good , Stormer is doing fine and has no pain but as soon as I notice that he is becoming ill or weak I will contact the farmer again and we will do what we have to do.
When I look into his eyes my heart breaks to think that he wont be around much longer but for now I am giving him all the love and affection that I possibly can.

Well now here I find myself single once again.
Then I sit and ponder about why I have the uncanny knack of choosing my men so well as some of you may know.
My personal opinion is that I am too soft and kind (I should know that... Ive been living with me for 55 years now)and both men and women seem to see my kindness as a weakness, which is the not the case. I have a fairly strong personality and can stand my ground when neccesary.
I have altough, come to the conclusion that I am in fact too sweet for my own good and that has to stop. Most people also take advantage of my sweet nature and think that they can trample all over me and when I do eventually say something about being misused they dont like it.
So can somebody please tell me how to be a bitch for a change because I havent been able to master that art as hard as I have tried over the past 40 years and now Im really starting to get upset with myself

Hello again to all my friends. Just A quick note to let you know I have moved to Calitzdorp. I have a fantastic job here at a guest house with a 2 bedroomed cottage thrown into the package.
I placed an ad on gumtree and the gentleman here answered and boy was I suprised to find that my accomodation was a whole house. I love it here and its so peaceful and soothing for my soul. I wake up to an orchestra of birds and go to sleep at night with the beautifull sounds of the night creautures.
The job is very demanding with long hours but Im loving every moment and its all worth while at the end of the day when I get home to my peacefull little cottage.... I love it !!!!.

Hello to all my friends and visitors. I have been away from the site for almost 2 years now as I got involved in a relationship with a guy. I am still in the relationship and have just discovered through a very concerned friend that he will screw around at the drop of a pin. She decided to SMS him and asked if he was available and almost 100 SMS'S later he still hasnt asked her name or age. I have copies of these SMS'S. WHAT NOW??. DUMP IT?
